AF100 Canon Mount from Birger Delayed

FreshDV is reporting that Birger’s Canon smart mount for the Panasonic AF100 has been delayed until at least NAB (April.) Originally slated for a February release, the $700 Birger mount allows the aperture to be changed without any work around, a problem due to Canon EOS lenses’ built-in electronics.

I posted a month or so about Kipon’s Canon lens mount for the AF100 (seen above,) which has been touted as a nice alternative to the upcoming Birger mount.
